Talismans plugin description:
Talismans are items that give players passive buffs while they are in the player's inventory, ender chest, or shulker box. They can be crafted or obtained through commands or in crates, and you can create custom levels for any talisman. Use custom textures, crafting recipes, names, descriptions - whatever you want to customize, you can. Create your own mascots with a powerful system of effects and conditions, so that the mascots are perfect for exactly how your server works. The talisman backpack can be found in the free TalismansGUI plugin made by OfTeN - just drag and drop it into the plugins folder along with Talismans and you'll have a nice extra gui and bag!
Talismans plugin commands:
/talismans givePermission: talismans.command.give
Usage: /talismans give <player> <talisman> <level>
Talismans plugin permissions:
Permissions to create mascots
All mascots have an ID, which is used in permissions and configuration files. This is a key that looks like archery_1, strength_2, alchemy_3.The crafting permission looks like this: talismans.fromtable.<key> .
For example, the permission to craft a Talisman of Extraction III would look like this: talismans.fromtable.extraction_3
By default, all talismans can be crafted with the permission talismans.fromtable.*.
Limiting the number of talismans a player has
If you want the player to only be able to use x number of talismans at the same time, make talismans.limit.<amount> eg talismans.limit.5 will allow 5 talismans to work at the same time. The player can have as many talismans in their inventory as they want, but they will stop working after a certain amount has been read.
Breakdown of the talismans.yml file
The talismans.yml file contains configurations for all talismans. It may seem complicated at first, however, it is very easy to customize and create your own mascots.Simply put, talismans.yml looks like this:
talismans:
- <talisman 1>
- <talisman 2>
This is an array of mascot configurations - and you can add and remove configurations as you see fit.
